Admirals beat Grand Rapids Flight 104-92
Benton Harbor, MI - The Lake Michigan Admirals started out with only one
sail up, falling behind the Grand Rapids Flight 32-20 at the end of the
first quarter. With the sharp shooting of DeAngelo Johnson, the Admirals
let the sails up and Johnson's three pointer hit nothing but of
net to go into the half all knotted up at 49-49. "I'm surprised at how
fast the game can turn around," said season ticket holder Stacy Nutting.
With Coach's substitutions and orchestrated offense sailing along,
the fans of approximately 450 were very pleased with the results. Shane
Ross was leading scorer for the Admirals with 20 points and Antwan Currie
had 25 points to lead all scores for the Flight. The final score was
Admirals 104 - Grand Rapids 92. Admirals next game will be against the
Chicago Steam on Saturday night at Lake Michigan Catholic.
