Admirals have dinner with Upton Middle School
ADMIRALS VISIT UPTON MIDDLE SCHOOL
St. Joseph, MI - The Lake Michigan Admirals were invited to visit Upton Middle School by Principal Chad Mandarino on Thursday afternoon and the visit was a success. The students were surprised when they entered into the lunch room not only to see the parents serving a special meal to them, but also the very tall professional basketball players from the Lake Michigan Admirals. "We love to visit schools and make a difference in kids lives and in return we get blessed as well, " stated Owner Chris Glisson. The players were excited to get the chance to visit the 8th grade gym class to play "Pickle" and they were amazed at the athleticism of the kids. Also, Upton Middle school has a program where they get students to volunteer to help children with disabilities feel more accepted by including them in arts, crafts, and different learning games. This program touched the hearts of the Admirals and they jumped right in and started helping as well. "Today was a good day for the Admirals," stated power forward Rodney Alexander. School visits can be set up by calling Chris Glisson at 1-269-208-3397 or go to www.lakemichiganadmirals.com.
